#ReasonableRanks Campaign

Justice, Dignity, and Opportunity for Injured Veterans

The Problem

Every year, thousands of U.S. service members are honorably discharged during training due to injury or illness—without ever being given a chance to recover, be reassigned, or continue their service. These veterans are left without recognition, career pathways, or adequate benefits. This must change.

Our Mission

#ReasonableRanks is a national advocacy campaign led by Covenant of Courage, calling for:

  • Career reassignment options for medically discharged service members

  • Full benefits protection (healthcare, housing, retirement)

  • Public recognition of training-related service and sacrifice

  • Policy reform to ensure future injured veterans are supported, not discarded

Together, We Can Change Military Policy

The oath to serve should come with a commitment from the country to stand by our service members—especially when they’re injured in uniform. The fight for justice starts now.
