🎉 202 Strong: A Milestone in the Fight for Injured Veterans

#ReasonableRanks Campaign Surpasses 200 Petition Signatures

We are proud to announce that the #ReasonableRanks campaign — led by Covenant of Courage — has officially surpassed 202 petition signatures! This powerful show of support marks an exciting and meaningful step forward in our mission to bring justice, dignity, and opportunity to injured service members who were discharged without recognition, career support, or adequate benefits.

Why This Matters

Every year, thousands of dedicated Americans are discharged during training or early service due to injuries or medical conditions. Many never deploy. But their service, sacrifice, and oath deserve to be honored — not discarded.

Our campaign calls for:

  • Career reassignment pathways for medically discharged service members

  • Full access to healthcare, housing, and retirement benefits

  • National recognition of training-related sacrifice

  • Policy reform to prevent systemic discharge without support

A Community Rising

These 202 voices represent veterans, spouses, students, civilians, and advocates who understand that service doesn’t start at deployment — it starts with the oath. As more people learn about this hidden crisis, our support grows. And with it, the momentum to demand reform.

One supporter wrote:

“This is long overdue. No one should be left behind just because they got hurt in uniform.”— Kirk Carlson, USMC Veteran

Another said:

“I didn’t even get to finish training before they discharged me—injured and ashamed. #ReasonableRanks gave me back my voice.”— Anonymous U.S. Army Veteran
