Recovery Resources


For the most up-to-date resources and information, visit recovery.lacounty.gov. This site serves as a hub for recovery assistance, including guidance on filing claims, accessing aid, and rebuilding efforts.

Insurance Claims: If you haven’t already, start the claims process with your insurance provider as soon as possible. FEMA’s assistance programs often require documentation of your insurance claims progress, so it’s essential to act quickly.

FEMA Claim Process: Begin the FEMA claim process at your earliest convenience. Ensure you have all necessary documentation from your insurance provider to streamline this step.


Local Assistance Centers


Starting tomorrow, January 14, Local Assistance Centers (LACs) will be available to anyone impacted by the fires. These centers are designed to provide a variety of critical resources and support services in one convenient location.

Westside Location:

UCLA Research Park West

10850 West Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064

Eastside Location:

Pasadena City College Community Education Center

3035 E. Foothill Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107

Hours of Operation:

Tuesday, January 14: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Starting Wednesday, January 15: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM


LAPD Updates

Medication Escorts Suspended: Medication escorts have been temporarily suspended.

Animal Welfare Checks: If you left animals behind in the evacuation zones, contact LA Animal Services at 888-452-7381 to coordinate a welfare check.

Missing Persons Reports: To report a missing person, call the 24/7 hotline at 213-996-1800.
