The #ReasonableRanks campaign has officially reached 120 signatures—a powerful milestone that reflects a growing coalition of veterans, students, advocates, and citizens who believe in fairness, dignity, and opportunity for injured service members.
This campaign was born out of lived experience. Too many veterans are discharged not because they lack the will to serve, but because they no longer meet rigid physical standards—despite being fully capable of contributing in vital non-combat and support roles. That’s not a policy failure—it’s a moral failure.
With every name added to the petition, our message grows louder:
Injured does not mean invalid.
We’re not just collecting signatures. We’re building a movement that demands:
Career reassignment pathways for injured veterans
Protection of retirement and healthcare benefits
An end to systemic discharges that discard experience and commitment
This Memorial Day weekend, as we honor the fallen, we also fight for the living—for those who served with pride and now seek a second chance to continue their service in meaningful, appropriate roles.
