Campaign Update: 165 Strong and Growing!

The Movement for Medically Discharged Veterans Gains Momentum

By Kirk Carlson | USMC Veteran | Founder, Covenant of Courage

The #ReasonableRanks campaign has officially reached 165 signatures—a powerful show of support for the veterans who were injured during training and discharged without the recognition, benefits, or reassignment they deserved.

Each signature represents a voice saying: “No veteran should be left behind.”

🫡 Why This Matters

Every year, thousands of service members are honorably discharged due to medical conditions sustained before deployment—often during boot camp, MOS school, or basic training. These injuries are service-connected, yet many veterans are denied the chance to continue their military careers or access full VA benefits.

#ReasonableRanks is here to change that.

We believe in:

  • Career reassignment options for injured but capable service members

  • Full VA benefits for those hurt while preparing to serve

  • Dignity and recognition for ALL who raised their hand to protect this country

📣 165 Voices Are Just the Beginning

Reaching 165 signatures is more than a number—it’s a signal. People are listening. Veterans are speaking out. Allies are stepping up. And with your continued help, we’re aiming for 200 signatures in the coming days.

  • Contact Your Reps: Demand legislative reform that protects all service-connected veterans—no matter when they were injured.

🎯 Next Goal: 200 Signatures

Let’s keep the momentum going. Every name counts. Every story matters. Every veteran deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.

Join the movement. Be the voice. Stand for #ReasonableRanks.
