Standing Up for Injured Veterans: The #ReasonableRanks Flyer Campaign

By Kirk Carlson | USMC Veteran | Founder, Covenant of Courage

As the #ReasonableRanks movement builds momentum nationwide, we’re proud to launch a new series of flyers and print materials designed to educate the public, engage city officials, and amplify the voices of medically discharged veterans.

This week, we unveiled our official campaign flyer—a bold, visually striking call to action with one message at its core:

🛑 No Injured Veteran Left Behind.

📢 What the Flyer Says

The flyer highlights the three pillars of the campaign:

  1. ✅ Career Reassignment for Injured Service Members

  2. ✅ Protection of Healthcare & Retirement Benefits

  3. ✅ Public Recognition for Service & Sacrifice

It also features a scannable QR code linking directly to our petition at https://chng.it/5yXYvkBtMR, inviting the public to take immediate action.

With clear, patriotic colors and powerful messaging, this flyer is designed to be shared at city council meetings, tabling events, veterans’ resource centers, colleges, and online.

🧾 One-Pagers for Officials

In addition to the public flyer, we’ve created a professional one-pager for elected officials. This summary outlines:

  • The problem facing injured trainees and non-deployable veterans

  • Key national statistics and personal stories

  • A call to action for formal endorsements and resolutions of support

Our goal is to put a clear, respectful, and persuasive message into the hands of every policymaker and advocate we meet.

🧰 Visuals for Social Media & Events

To further mobilize our base, we’re rolling out campaign-branded graphics, quote cards, and testimonial visuals optimized for:

  • Facebook and Instagram posts

  • Printable flyers and posters

  • Community boards and outreach tables

All materials feature our slogan:

#ReasonableRanks – Fairness. Dignity. Opportunity.
