🚨 Veterans’ Voices Deserve to Be Heard 🚨

Recently, Nextdoor hid one of my posts, claiming it was a “non-local” topic. The truth is, my post was about veterans, service, and community—things that impact every neighborhood.

As a Marine veteran and founder of Covenant of Courage, I see firsthand how injured and discharged service members struggle to find purpose again. Our work is about giving veterans a second mission: training future leaders, mentoring youth, and building stronger communities.

Silencing these conversations doesn’t just hurt veterans—it hurts families, youth, and the very communities we’re trying to strengthen.

We will not be discouraged. Our mission continues.

Because service doesn’t end with discharge—it evolves. And veterans should never be muted when they’re serving again in their communities.
